I am trying to help someone retrieve their Outlook address book. Their computer crashed, so we put the hard drive as a slave to another computer. I thought we should be able to navigate to :
<The Drive letter>\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
hidden files and folders are in view
I cannot find a .pst file in that location. She has not backed up or exported the address book before, is this the location ?and should we find this file in the Outlook location?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you dribdrab, but Outlook uses a different extension than the windows address book. Windows stores it under the .wab , but all of hers should be in a file .pst, but it is not showing up in the proper folder.
She is suppose to check and see if her address book was saved online, and possibly that is why it is not there. I have not looked at her files yet, I just walked her thru them over the phone. I am going by there in the morning to see if I can find the missing file. I have the file on my computer, in the folder it is suppose to be located in, that is why I am confused. Thanks again for your time
