Hello, I'm new here.

Could someone please explain why one might use SDFix to repair F2, 02, and 07 entries in a HiJackThis log? Why not just use HijackThis to fix them? (I've read the tutorials about them but that doesn't explain why one should be used over the other.)

Edited because no one ever wants to answer my questions and I'm getting ticked off about it. So by changing the question I'm hoping someone will answer.

Firstly, to Bleeping Computer :flowers:

Secondly, I ensure that you only take help on a single issue at one place - not various places as it causes confusion :trumpet:

Thirdly, I recommend that you don't try to remove entries in a HijackThis log without expert guidance. You can seek that expert guidance here at Bleeping Computer - we are renowned for the excellent services that the HJT Team members provide and to ensure you hat their work is optional, they have been approved at either ASAP or Unite :inlove:

Honestly, I don't want you to mess around with your system and I think it's far better if you use our excellent services  Here is the preparation guide for submitting a HijackThis log - Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A HijackThis Log.

Just have patience as the HJT Team are busy at the moment  If you don't receive a reply within a few days then post the link to your log here B)

Also, you said you wanted to learn? If you do then I highly suggest you read this link B)

With kind regards,

Andy has been busy

so have the other premium antimalware code writters

however both programs are best used with caution and some preliminary measures

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
