No kevin, this is on your system.
If you are creating a zip, rar, etc file it may be because it's too large or you have to much other stuff running at the same time. You could try to compress first and save, then e-mail afterwards or you could also try shutting down open apps before compressing as well.
How large is this file and what program are you using to compress?

Hiya kev,

I believe that the file is far to big to send via e-mail,you can send it via msn or google talk ,but it will take a good few hours to go through.
god my head hurts.
if you don't ask ,you don't know

You may be thwarted in your attempt by the size of the file or by the refusal of an ISP to accept Zipped attachments of any sort.
There are two ways around this: 1) use an application to break the file into smaller sizes (the recipient will need the same application to rejoin them, or 2) upload the file to a hosting site such as Yousendit, from which they can download the entire file.

John
