Hi,
Thanks for having this forum. I've read good things about it and really admire your helping us less knowledgeable people out.
Anyway, I got infected with vundo.gen!R yesterday. Windows Defender picks it up but I get an error message when I ask it to wipe it.
I've downloaded and run Vundofix and Fixvundo software but neither have done what they say they do.
Vundofix.exe found 11 dll's it says should be wiped but when I click on the "Fix" button nothing happens. When I look in task manager it says vundofix.exe is "stopped." I right click and choose run now and then the computer restarts. Windows Defender restarts and tells me I'm infected with vundo and now conhook.l.
Please tell me what I need to do to fix my computer. It's only a month old. Thanks.
