Hi All,

Internet Explorer 7 crashes and gives the error screen "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry ..... " yes I'm sure they are!

Another screen can be accessed which gives details of the error (Error Signature), the most recent one being,
"AppName: iexploere.exe AppVersion: 7.0.6000.16674 ModName: unknown Modversion: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 01c41ecc"

Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be causing such errors.

I have considered dumping IE, but have resisted so far on the basis that it's not going to beat me!

All thoughts and comments greatly appreciated.

I would try repairing Internet Explorer.

Thank you. I have done the repair a fortnight ago and the problem re-appeared within the next day. I'll try it again though.
It's odd though, for after the error box comes up, I can keep using the open window, open new browser windows etc., as if the error doesn't exist.
I expected that once the error box came up, IE would've been frozen, but it's not the case.
