Implicit Vs. Explicit Join

Could someone please tell me what the difference is between an implicit join and an explicit join?

Assuming that you are talking about SQL:

Implicit joins - Only those records are shown, which have a foreign key
matching w.r.t. primary key,

Explicit joins - All the records are shown irrespective of the foreign
key-primary key match,
