For a few months I've been experiencing unwanted re-directs to www.search.net (then behind that window I get a poker site). Elesewhere in this forum this is described as the effect of Malware on a PC and suggestions are given. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/49779/open-links-in-new-windows-goes-to-weird-links/

I have the same issue on my Mac. Is anyone aware of a solution or solutions for OS X?

Thanks!!

I just ran VirusBarrier X5. No viruses found. No malware found.

So my question is has anyone else had this issue recently - you type in a web address that's not a major site, such as a friend's webdesign site, and you get redirected to search.com?
