I read the other posts about this, but am a novice when it comes to adding and removing programs, cookies, etc. I thought it would be best to post what I have on my system rather than trying to follow someone elses solution for their system.

Hope someone can help!

When I try to access my yahoo mail, I am redirected to the following URL: <http://www.google.com/hws/gateway/afe?hl=en&s=http://ad.yieldmanager.com/st?ad_type&rdr=afe>

The error message says: Sorry, we couldn't find <http://ad.yieldmanager.com/st%3Fad_type>

I am running Vista and have Spy Sweeper and Trend Micro Antivirus.

I am also open to any suggestions about better antivirus software and spyware... or whatever I can use to protect my computer.

Thanks in advance!

I just found the guide to use before posting to this forum.... Sorry. Will complete the listed tasks ASAP. Thanks!

I am running Kaserpsky online scanner and so far it hasn't found anything. It seems the problem has resolved now, because I can access my yahoo mail now. Unfortunately, and maybe unrelated though, now the scroll portion of my laptop mouse pad has stopped working. Can someone please still advise me on whether or not Trend Micro and Spy Sweeper are enough security for my computer, or if there is a better route to go?
