I recently deleted a program but forgot to remove the shortcut key (Ctrl - Alt - G) from the program's shortcut in my start button. When I tried to reassign the shortcut key to another program, it didnt work. I tried reinstalling the program that I deleted & putting the key back into it but it also didnt work.
Can someone please tell me what I can do ?

Thank you

Hello Lynx560,

Have you tried right clicking the entry and selecting delete?

Thank you for your repy Alan but I have no idea what you mean. Right click which entry & delete what ??? I am not trying to delete the program !!! I am trying to regain the use of a shortcut key.
When I deleted the program the first time, I forgot to remove the shortcut key (located when you right click on a shortcut - click Properties). I wanted to use that key (Ctrl - Alt - G) with another shortcut but when I tried to assign it, it didn't work. I then reinstalled the program & tried to assign the key back to the original program but that didn't work either. So, as of now, I have lost the use of the shortcut key (Ctrl - Alt - G).
Is there anyway of regaining it ???

Thank you,
Lynx560

I was under the impression you wanted to remove an entry from the start menu.
