I say go with the HD4870 X2 since it is two GPU's on one PCB, more bang for your buck. As for the rest of your build, it is a solid system. Just remember that if you want to use all 4GB of RAM you will need a 64-bit OS.

Yeah HD4870X2 was my first choice, and I will be getting copy of Vista for the 4gb of RAM. Currently I am using a 24" samsung 2493hm, when i get my set up going, I will get another 24"!!! Going to be sick!

But I also have a serious question to ask, if I were to get the list of parts I want, will my Antec plus 1080AMG case be sufficient in air cooling? It has 2 fans in the back, and one on the side. Compared to my friend's case Antec 900, his has 2 on the back, 1 on the top, and 2 in the front. Should i stick with my old case, or just get a new case?

As long as the fans are able to move the air, you should be fine with the case. Are you going to use an aftermarket cooler for the CPU? Some of the larger coolers take up a significant amount of space.
