Hay guru's

bah I downloaded an animation tut and got burned  Tried cleaning this myself, hitting most of the threads and trying different solutions collected from different folks having the same problem but Virtumonde keeps coming back.

I know yall are swamped, but I think I can keep the bugger under control until yall can look at my HJT log.
Thanks again and your time is greatly appreciated,

Iggy

PS: btw, who makes these trojans anyways? Whats the point?

Hello, my name is fenzodahl512 and welcome to BC.. Please do the following...

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) from HERE or HERE and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • Please let your firewall allow the scanning/downloading process.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
If you are using Vista, you need to right-click at dss.exe icon and choose Run as Administrator

Regards
fenzodahl512

Thanks for the response Fenzo.

Heres where I am at. With hitting most of the posts on Virtumonde virus and trying different solutions posted I think I have cleaned it off my using MalawareBytes Anti-Malware scan(which was recommended in another thread). But it would be nice if you could still look at my DSS report and see if you see anything traces of the bug.
Thanks again for your time

Heres where I am at. With hitting most of the posts on Virtumonde virus and trying different solutions posted I think I have cleaned it off my using MalawareBytes Anti-Malware scan(which was recommended in another thread). But it would be nice if you could still look at my DSS report and see if you see anything traces of the bug.

Excellent job Iggylove, :)

Your log looks clean to my eyes..
