When I do a Error Check on my C: drive on my computer it keeps coming up with Error # 993. I have tried chkdsk in the command line, and on the Windows XP CD in the Recovery Console and nothing is fixing it! What Do I do?

Hi .

Guess I don't know why you are trying to run disk checks from Partition Magic...that's supposed to be used when checking a hard drive for whatever reason during attempted formatting.
