Do a scan, clean and post a log with MBAM

would you go into device manager and look at your usb, are there any warnings?

You might try removing the master controller(host controller) let the computer reboot and redetect

You should be using MS default drivers with SP2, there are a few exceptions(nvidia?) but I am not so sure even about them.

Default MS ones are safest

What infections have you had recently that might have caused this?

remove=uninstall

disabling host controller would turn all usb off and not fix anything
