Hi,
2 days ago I turned my computer on and would not get any connection through my wirelless netgear wpn111 on my laptop. It all seemed to work okay before. Now the connection btw the router and the usb wireless is detected ok and receiving signal and internet connection says is working correctly but no actual connection is happening.

Cannot get my head around why this would happen. Ran antivirus but laptop clean. Could it be prevented by something installed during windows update? or firewall (btw if firewall turned off still doesn't work)?

Has anyone got any idea what to do with this.

Thanks for any help...

Monika xxx

I'm going to guess that you have ZoneAlarm firewall. If so, please look here.
