on my aunties laptop, when i try clicking on internet explorer it the loading symbol on the mouse icon says its loading then it goes back to the normal icon, then internet explorer never loads. also i tried going on control panel>>administrative tools>>services. it doesn't load either. i tried installing a antivirus cause it didn't seem like it had one. but when i clicked on it, the usual user account control thing doesn't pop up.

i think its a windows vista premium. i think its intel pentium duel core , but its kinda slow. im not really sure what to do since most of the things i've tried doesn't seem to work

oh ya, although internet explorer didn't load. i was able to load Mozilla firefox with no problems

edit: i went into task manager and looked at the processes and found many of the programs and processes i tried to load. it looks likes its there but its not.

Try looking for the process 'iexplore.exe' in Task Manager? If it is there, click on it once and 'end process'. Then try loading IE again.
