First off sorry for posting in the wrong forum, my bad. Now to the point, after removal of several torjans/spyware infections, this computer is still very slow. Just making sure i have removed everything before i settle on a hard drive going out.

Sorry for the delay.

I don't see anything malware / spyware related causing the problem. But before you condemn the HD comsider the following

For slow PC operation see this link:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/87058/slow-computerbrowser-check-here-first;-it-may-not-be-malware/

2. Your PC has only 126K or RAM

Percentage of Memory in Use: 84% (more than 75%).
Total Physical Memory: 126 MiB (512 MiB recommended).

At the very leasy you need 256K to run XP, 512K is recommended.

RAM is inexpensive to add to most PC's

Yeah i noticed, just a computer that was given to me to "look" at. The only reason i mentioned hard drive issues was because of the system event log i noticed it couldnt write to some blocks. Thanks!
