When i first got firefox it was faster thatn IE (not to much but still faster) I downloade some Themes/Extensions and it got slower.. i uinstalled all the extensions and themes and its still around 10X slower than IE, is threre something else? thats making it slow?

You can try deleting your prefs.js and letting it create a new one on its one. Close all firefox windows, delete the prefs.js, start firefox and see if its better.

If you want to backup your prefs.js, dont delete it, just rename it
