Hey guys!

Okay, so I have replied to one or two pinned topics. I have my account set so that any thread that I reply to/create is automatically added to my subscriptions.

However, I would like to unsubscribe from those topics, so I went to My Controls, and under the subcriptions, clicked Topics, and selected the pinned topics that I wanted to be removed from my subscriptions.

However, this doesn't seem to work. Those pinned topics are still there when I click "My Topics" at the top of the page.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The My Topics at the top does not list your subscribed topics, it actually does a search of all topics that you have replied to. It searches using your username. Hence why it won't do anything when you go to My Controls to remove them there.

Welcome to the club.

While many of the features of these boards make logical sense, you have to think illogically to understand them.

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

No problem. Glad to help. I was always told there's no such thing as a stupid question...

Are you implying I think illogically? :trumpet: :flowers:

No more than I - I was going to provide the same answer to aommaster, too.

Is it illogical to provide a logical answer to an illogical situation?

Dunno.

Is it illogical to provide a logical answer to an illogical situation?

If you provided a logical answer to an illogical situation, then you must have arrived at the logical answer through a series of logical steps. Hence, it would be logical to prove a logical answer to an illogical situation
