I have a problem with removing the Trojan.Vundo virus. I have tried numerous free software to remove this but have had no luck. I have tried CCleaner, HiJackThis, WindowsDefender. I just tried to install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but the computer will not let me install. When I was able to get to the internet, it kept redirecting me to unknown or unwanted sites. Now, I cannot get on the Internet at all.
The computer is a IBM Thinkpad with windows XP installed.

Does anyone know how to remove this awful virus?

Edit: Moved topic from AntiVirus, Firewall and Privacy Products and Protection Methods to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
