I've got this error suddenly when i tried to bring up the task manager. A popup gives me an error that says

Windows Task Manager : taskmgr.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because sysenv.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

And i'm still unable to bring up the task manager. The error keeps returning even after i pressed OK.

I've searched on the net about sysenv.dll and i have no clue to whether is is malware or a corrupted dll file. Also, i dare not reboot my PC as i'm afraid it would cause the whole PC to crash and not boot up again. So hopefully i would be able to find a way to fix this problem here before i had to reboot my PC.

I've tried VundoFix and it detected nothing. I'm currently trying ad-aware and spybot to check if its spyware. I've got lots of important stuff in my PC and i wouldn't want to re-format it. Does anyone here know how to fix this problem? If you have a fix for it please tell me as im afraid it would corrupt my PC even further.

Deepest Thanks,
