I'm new to this so be kind.............
I logged onto my computer this evening only to find I cannot get any internet pages. I eventually had to contact my provider. The upshot was, the only way I can get any internet page, was to disable Zone Alarm. I was told that enabling it (Zone Alarm) will result in the same problem as before. I do have windows firewall but ZA is much better.

I was told that this problem was down to the new MS updates and having running ZA only denies access to any internet page.

I don't understand what's going on as I'm not that compuetr minded - or at least I though I knew some things but after talking to my provider I'm very confused now. Can anyone out there make sene of this and if they can explain it to me please.

Thank you

See my post here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/156763/free-zonealarm-firewall-blocking-after-ms-updates/

which will tell you what Microsoft update is responsible for your issue.
