When on the internet and tring to close a site to check something else, the program won't close and the computer freezes, only restarting computer lets me continue. The computer restarts on its own sometime also.

I'm using xp home, I.E., Winanti virus pro 2005, the only virus that has been detected is BAT.delete (it's been removed).

any info. on how to fix this would be great.

Seems to me an appropriate thing to do would be post a HJT log.
How to do this (one way) would be to read the tutorial and follow the suggestions.
