Safe Mode

Hello, i tried to boot my system to safemode for a hijack this anaylsis to fix some problems in safemode. When i did so, the system would start up, then it would just shut down after a few seconds of showing the sign in screen. I restored it and got windows to finally come up, but now i can't go into safemode and fix the other problems from hijackthis. Someone help me please. Thank you. I'm Running Win xp pro sp2.

There a a couple ways to access safe mode in winXP pro SP2.

Try this:
start-->run--> type msconfig, then OK

When the System Configuration Utility comes up, choose

Diagnostic Startup - load basic devices and services only

then Apply, then OK
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...
