Hi

I have had work done on my vista os and the repairer has installed ESET smart security. Can anyone assure me that this is effective virus and malware protection.

regards

Hello Cluless,

Eset smart security is a good protection suite. I was not overly impressed with their firewall(too slow) but the rest of the product was quite good.

It is not a free program however, and you may want to check the subscription status to see how long is left on the trial.
Regards,

Alan.

Well at matousec It's very bad in leak tests. Out off the 30+ products tested in came 8th last (5%/73).

So for Firewall protection they got some work to do.
