Spysweeper / Virtumonde Infection

Hi. Please can you help. I have a desktop machine that someone stupidly paid to purchase Spysweeper. This resulted in Virtumonde and other infections. Running in safe mode I have managed to clear (I think) much of the mess but I still cant download any spyware tools (ie spybot) nor can I update those already installed. I can run the outdated version in safe mode but that is all. I cant even install versions downloaded using another machine so obviously I have not cleared it as well as I would liked to have believed. I have managed to run HijackThis. exe and hence have a log file that I can post.
