Hello

I have just noticed that when i right click a file, e.g a RAR file there are only the following options there:

Open
Open with...
Groover Folder Synchronization
Send to

Where have all my other options gone to. I would like to right click a rar file and extract here, this option has disapeared.

I have not installed anything recently and have made no changes to my computer.

I have tried uninstalling winrar and reinstalling it.

I have tried repairing the system files.

Is there an option to enable shell integration, or does anyone no a fix?

I having been surfing the net for a while and cant find anything that helps.

Have you tried restarting the computer after the installation? I know it sounds like a silly thing to do, but restarting solves 95% of all my problems

Another thing you could do, if winRar isn't too important for you, is to try Alzip. It's free and it has the capability to read a lot more different archives than winRar files (this includes zip, rar, ace, to name a few).

Yes i have restarted it several times, its not just winrar, they are all missing, even my scan for viruses!

I have a external HD plugged into my pc, i have just noticed that the exstensions are there and working when i browse to the external HD, its just on my internal HD that must have the issue.

Try File Menu Tools

Edit: Removed registry key. I don't think it exists.

Right click my computer and go to manage.

Expand services,
Right click Indexing Service
Click Properties,

make sure it is indexing files with unkown extensions and is enabled on all locations.

Then it worked.
