My mum has just got a brand new compute, meaning no errors or virrus of any kind pretty much a cleam system. I went through the process of a basic protection starting with the new Comodo Firewall software.

During the installation an error occured installing the main components, but it never worked correctly. I tried uninstalling the software and it comes up with the option of "do you want to uninstall", I click "yes" but nothing would happen. I don't know how else to remove to software from the system.

Also thought I'd say System Restore was never activated so I can't go do that route, I have a reasonable experience with computers but I'm just stumped.

If you could help that would be great?

Hello Jsmithy,
I used to use Comodo firewall 3.0 its a great firewall but I never had any issues with it.
I am not sure if the following instructions will work but its worth a try.
After downloading Comodo Firewall 3 setup if you double click the setup I think there is an option that lets you uninstall it using the setup. If you uninstall it using that it should work. Not sure if there is an option that lets you uninstall comodo firewall using the setup but its worth a try. Try that and see if it works, if it doesn't then we will think of something else then...

Note: Please do not PM me asking for help, instead please post it in the correct forum requesting for help. Help requests via the PM system will be ignored.
