Found Out Why Not Seeing Ram

I was told that the reason my Shuttle AV11 board does not see the extra Ram I added, was because in yr 2000 this board accepted only what they told me is called single layer. Meaning it reads only one side of a stick not like todays where there is chips on both sides.

Is there truth in this and if so how would I know which Ram to purchase if I was say purchasing it off E-Bay

Looks like you basically need 168 pin PC133 SDRAM.
