Hi All,

I first got to bleeping computer via google searches and added this site to my trusted list of references for spyware lookups and places to reference for help. I'm joining as I believe in giving back to places that make a difference to me.

My background - From New Zealand
Programmed since I was 12 (am now 40)
Have worked with networks since pre dos and early dos days
Have built and worked with computers from PC XT / AT and earlier.
Still remember windows 1, dos 1 , DR DOS, OS/2 Warp, trying to run networks on T junctioned co-ax cables, dial up peer to peer Fido net connections to the internet and the days when getting an email to and from ADA in the USA in under 24 hours was an exciting thing.

In short I am an old timer geek from way back when.

I've programmed in Basic, Pascal, VB, VBA, Jade, Java (1.0 onwards) HTML V3 onwards, DHTML, Lotus Notes (R3 onwards) Flat file DB tables, DBase, SQL Server, MySQL, PHP, C, Assembly and just about every scripting language known to man (or woman).

I founded virusbusters.co.nz (no this isn't an ad - you wont find a web site there and even if you do in the future you can only order our services in NZ so far). We look after home users PCs, MACs and Linux machines. We specialise in virus removal, security breaking and data recovery as well as the normal line of fixing, installing and repairing home users need.

My professional background includes social work, teaching, drug and alcohol rehab work, working in third world slums, and psychiatric care work.

I still program for govt depts and corporates in my spare time (mostly when wife and four kids have gone to bed) and on contract when requested.

Nuff said - that's me.

Hello - Kiaora, Nice to meet y'all.
