I have tried everything, ALL the malware and spyware, Norton 360, Mcafee Stinger, Winsock, CWshredder hijackthis, ATF cleaner, and nothing will sort the problem.
Have followed all instructions, used safe mode, windows restore etc etc.

When a search is done on google and a site link is clicked it redirects me.

Have spent 2 days trying to sort this but nothing, any help please?

Hi there,
I have been trying to sort this problem for a while now and was confused as it was almost as if Google had been cloned (it look a little different - no sponsored links on the right or top - but looked the same) - but when i clicked through from a search link it then went through to either a strange IP address or a random search engine and mostly to copy-book.com urls
But great news is that I have just fixed this problem by running VirusBarrier X5 from Intego http://www.intego.com/demo/ (I have a Mac but I think it does PCs as well?)
It found a file called quicktime with a strange file ending and when I deleted this file and restarted the computer the problem was fixed. Phew! I also tried other virus scanners and they did not help so i really think this one is worth a go. I am now going to buy it as I am so delighted and relieved!!!
Hope this helps you.
Cheers
