Actually, I sat here for 45 minutes coming up with this list. I rather enjoy walking down that proverbial memory lane. This list is mine but there are a million of them out there. These just pertain to me and my childhood. I don't speak for other childhoods, .

I plead the 5th Amendment on grounds it may incriminate me as an "old" person

(Slip N Slides were awesome, my tv had 2 stations, my Mom had to ring an outside bell for dinner cause we were a few blocks away on our bikes, Laura Ingalls grew up fast, we had to wait 30 mins. to swim after a meal, Flintstones ruled, Cap'n Crunch YUM, ding dong Avon calling...lil lipstick samples!, my Mom played Atari too & got mad if we walked by & made her "die" on a turn, I got my cootie shots in the 3rd grade, Lite Brite was SO cool, they still have Weekly Readers at school...my 10 yr. old gets them each week & awwww it brings back memories!.....but don't tell anyone I told you, my kids already think I'm older than dirt) :flowers:

Nanakat,
What a fabulous reply! I can't stop smiling. Thanks for enjoying this as much as I have. I could come up with lots more but the ones I did were enough to wear me out. A few oddities though...

1. Ever discover an uneaten bowl of Grape Nuts? I'll bet you threw away the bowl!
2. Ever wonder why cereal commercials show breakfast with orange juice? OJ is so nasty after a good teeth cleaning and cereal!
3. Ever have cold pizza for breakfast and not love it?
4. When was the last time you enjoyed a piece of Bubble Yum, Bubblicious, or Bazooka?
5. The first time walking on a gymnasium floor since you were out of school...were you walking on eggshells wondering if your shoes would squeak or leave marks?
6. Who's more embarassed by your own 3rd grade pics? You or your kids?
7. Ever notice that lately, grandmas don't have flabby arms?

Again, I could go on....

 :flowers: :trumpet:
