Hi,

Your system is severly infected. Problem with these infections nowadays is, it causes a lot of damage. Even if we clean the malware off your system, I can't guarantee that your system will be clean afterwards, because these infections/bundles leave a lot of leftovers behind that most scanners won't even recognise and logs won't show.
Also, I can't promise you we can repair all the damage it caused... Even after cleaning the malware, you can still get errors afterwards because of the damage. Solving these is not always possible since it will be searching for a needle in a haystack to find the right cause and solution.
So, we can try to clean this up and do what we can, but keep in mind that we can't solve ALL problems this malware already caused.

In light of this it would be wise for you to back up any files and folders that you don't want to lose before we start. Reason I am telling this is because when a system is so terribly infected and we try to clean this up manually, the damage that is already present may interfere with our removal attempts.

This includes installing the Windows XP Recovery Console in case you have not installed it yet.

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.

Getting to the internet from the infected computer is impossible so I will have to burn ComboFix onto a CD and hopefully run it from that.

Would it be easier if I formatted the HD and started from scratch? Or would I have to write zeros to the HD to get rid of all the infected spyware/malware/etc?

To be honest - if a computer is severly infected, a format is still the fastest and especially the safest solution.
A format and reinstall should be enough to get rid of everything :thumbsup:
But it's your choice ofcourse... if you want to clean this up manually, I'll guide you as well.

I will check with my sister (this is her computer). I do have a question though - if I share one of the folders on the infected computer so that I can copy important files to MY computer do I run the risk of infecting MY computer also? Or am I pretty safe since I am up to date with Norton, SpyBot, Super Anti, and Adaware?

This all depends what files are in there... I assume you only share files you know and won't share unknown files?
In anyway, most malware present is present in the System32 folder here.

The only files I was looking to save were her music files and My Documents. Once I have those transferred I will let you know and could you possibly help me with the formatting process?
