I just retired & have some spare time. I had to fix that malware problem for my sisters comp...wasn't a big deal, but would love to nip it in the bud. Any idea who is behind malware? Their computers can be disrupted pretty easily

Short answer

Persons of very uncertain parentage who should be immediately strung up by the toenails for not less than a week. For a second infringement, chucked straight off the roof of at least a ten storey building - no ifs, buts, or maybes.

See how many are left after 6 months.
