Use this search engine to look at what you have running

http://www.mirc.com/

I would redownload and install mirc after trying to manually delete the program folder, hopefully it's a broken infection

BigFIx is a program that Gateway installed when I got the computer. It however hasn't worked in over a year. Can I just uninstall it?

This is another one I would uninstall, it's foistware bundled with AIM

Personally I avoid chat programs and toolbars

Have others use a limited account is very important, many security experts suggest using one for yourself when surfing is a good defense

Keep an eye on the computer and run another scan or two after some time online and you should be fine if something does not come back,

unfortunately you had a dangerous infection
