I purchased a Macbook (the 2.4 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, 160GB version) a few days ago and installed Windows XP via Boot Camp. I then installed Battlefield 2142, and when I double-clicked on the shortcut, the game picture appears, the screen flashes black for about a second or two, and then it closes back to my desktop, as if nothing happened.

The video card is 144 MB ATI, and I think (although I'm not sure) the video card minimum requirements for BF 2142 is at least 128 MB, so I don't think that's causing the problem.

All the drivers are also installed properly.

So what's wrong and how do I fix it?
