I can't get to my Control Panel, I tried from the start panel ....a little jump (like when an ad is blocked.
Then went to My Computer and tried to get in that way through the little list on the left hand side....took me to the/my start page???
Any help will be as always much appreciated.

I can't get to my Control Panel, I tried from the start panel ....a little jump (like when an ad is blocked.

Yet another possible way - it works in 98 - is to simply type Control Panel in the Internet Explorer URL window.
