How To Format Hard Disk For Reinstallation Of Xp

Im trying to format hard disk on my desk top before reinstallation of xp to wipe it clean as i will end up with
multi O/S, can anyone help, I know it involves (mkdiskraw) but dont know where to start. Thanks

Hi, you need to have your computer boot from the cd. So press the deleate key on start up and in the bios you will need to change the boot order so cd is first then you can select your hardrive as the second boot device, the save and exit. Plac eyour XP cd in the PC and start your PC and now follow the prompts.
