I really hope you can help me:

I have windows 2000 and have installed Windows media player 9.
When i try playing the downloaded clips and movies with "wmv" extension, a new window pops up where it says "license aquisition" and i get a message that in order to play the clip i need to aquire a license.
I don't know what to do next.
It happens with EVERY "wmv" file, i may add.

Does anybody here have an idea what should i do so i can play wmv files?
It seems like nobody knows how to solve this problem

Go into your WMP settings and under the privacy tab uncheck everything but set clock on devices automatically. In security uncheck everything. Then see if its better, Some wmv files will ask you for that license and there is nothing you can do about it
