Hello...
I am here trying to save my PC... Safer-networking... cleaned it up (Malware) but still having the same issues so, evidently there is more to do... Thought I would look around and see what I could learn...

Self taught user since Win3.1... tired of buying new ones... just because I can't fix them..

I really would like to maintain the system I have by finding the error... rather than reformatting.. also..... I suppose I just enjoy a challenge!!!!

IE Problems...
COmpaq Presario 8000 2002;
IE 7, SP2 holding on SP3 but maybe I just need to download and fix all????

Initial problems with internet connection had to use winsock fix and clear DNS .
have checked Router,, ok... ISP is saying its IE and Safernetwork is indicating no malware...
all started with download of Norton 08.... froze...
well I could go on ..... but I'll find the proper forum to post... and take some good direction and or get some new ideas
