I have been trying to open a short file and the only message I receive is ' the driver or network connection the shortcut phonebook.Ink is not available'. I've right click the file and choose properties but wasn't able to open general. Is there something I can do to use this file.

Right click on the shortcut and go to properties. You will see a target location. Make sure the executable file is still located there and has not been removed. Otherwise re-install the selected application. Hope this helps.

If the target location is on a network, make sure that the network is available and that the target host is connected.
