Just as the title explains, after I tell HJT to scan, it brings up the list of BHO's and whatnot, but then upon clicking the BHO registry key that would finish off that darn WINTOOL adware it has an error and has to close. Is there any way to fix HJT? Is there any other way to remove WINTOOLS if HJT just won't work on my computer?

P.S. Ive already uninstalled HJT and reinstalled it and it still won't work.

Rename hijackthis.exe to hjt.exe and see if that helps. You can also try this in safe mode. Last have you uninstalled wintools in add/remove programs?
