I am looking for a good (not too complex) GUI library for creating working in Windows XP Pro. My need for a GUI is fairly basic so I don't need all the lastest bells and whistles.

Should I refer to what I want as a GUI library or and API library?

I have heard of ncurses, wxWidgets and SmartWin. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I using C++ under Dev-Cpp.

TIA

Alan

I have never really used C++ for GUI stuff, but most people I know use MFC:
