Need Suggestions For Less Intrusive Av Software

I have tried AVG and it always messed up when trying to update. I have also tried Avast and It's just one big resource hog especially when its downloading updates. I'm looking for something that's free. Even a command line version that has background protection would work. Any suggestions?

Try looking there first :thumbsup:
