Pc Wont Boot When Standing Up But Only When It Lays Down

PC wont boot when standing up but only when it lays down i have ben inside my pc and put some new cooler paste on the cpu.

I'll bet the heatsink retainer latch is broke. First thing to check

The latch mechanism that fastens the cooler/heatsink to the motherboard above the CPU. Another question is how much thermal compound did you use?

not very much actually. but i'm gonna buy a new cooler so this is solved.

Also check to see if there is a lose screw under the motherboard or check the metal bracket on the heatsink and make sure nothing is grounding out the motherboard. Make sure all your wires are plugged in tightly etc.
