Hi all! I recently bought a laptop with Vista pre-installed in it. After some use, I handed it over to a friend who didn't like Vista. He re-formatted the entire hard drive including the recovery partition. Every thing was wiped out after which he installed XP. The problem now is that we cannot play sounds, obviously because the audio driver was wiped away. How can I get this back, I think the manufacturer (Acer) designed the PC for Vista, so the XP Audio drivers I obtained from their (Acer) site doesn't work on this OS. Please, any help rendered would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
