Hi I just got done reinstalling OS. drivers etc. in my daughters laptop I was trying to help her to redown load a prpgram and got this WINDOWS CANNOT ACCESS THE SPECIFIED DEVICE, PATH, OR FILE YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE APPROPRIATE PERMISSION TO ACCESS THE ITEM. This program was loaded before her laptop had it's melt down ????

You're logged in as administrator, correct? Try installing with you virus and firewall programs shut off or do it in safemade.
