Here are some tips on navigation with a wheel mouse and keyboard.
If you hold down the Shift key while you move the wheel on your new wheel mouse, Internet Explorer will navigate backward and forward through visited pages. This also works on almost any broswer. Just give it a try. Just like clicking the Back and Forward buttons, or holding down the Alt key while you click the left or right keypad arrows on your keyboard. Hope this helps

Another good tip to go with this, hold down the ctrl key and scroll the mouse wheel. It will increase or decrease the font size.

Mozilla gives you options for the scroll:
Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Mouse wheel

You may scroll up or down, move between pages in history, or resize the text. Pressing other keys whilst using the wheel alllows you to choose any of these options.
