I reformatted a computer without having with me those cds that came with it.I only installed those drivers from the website of the manufacturer.Im not sure of whether those drivers have something to do with the problem of the cdrom drive that seems to be not working properly like it used to before it was reformatted.I do remember we had tested one game installer and we saw it was running smoothly and not being interrupted at all nor hanging in the middle. But now,cd is not opening completely or it sometimes gets stuck while reading.Pls help maybe some drivers i need to update or change or being missed out.I went to the device manager and the thing just left with yellow exclamation is pci modem.

Try unistalling it in the Device Manager, reboot the computer and the Installation Wizard will recognize it as new hardware and assign drivers for it. This is a plug and play device and XP should have drivers that will be compatible for this.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
