It works for me, I suspect someone posted in the thread just after you told the forum to be marked as read.

No, that's my point. The forum can easially get marked as read. What I'm wondering is why I can't mark an individual topic as read.

I don't think it works that way, Billy, although I agree, it would be nice.

Of course, you can read the topic, in which case it will be marked thus.

Well... just figured out why you cant do that... apparently if there are forums where you are mod, clicking that icon closes/opens the topic....

Hope I didn't mess anything up now... I was clicking those sort of absent mindedly....
