Okay, so I'm in my Recovery Console. When I try to run "chkdsk", it gives me an error saying that it can't find "AUTOCHK.EXE"

Does anyone have any clues as to what this means, or how to fix it?

Thanks,
Evan

Either the file is missing or corrupt. If I remember right you don't have an XP CD so sfc /scannow probably won't work for you.

Does this look like an OldGrumpyBastard or what?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
